BENNY LE IS A PRODUCT DESIGNER IN IRVINE, CA.

Going into college I struggled with deciding what major to pursue. I have always been passionate about art as it is a creative outlet, but I am also deeply interested in human thought processes and psychology. I decided to split my courses into both paths to test each one out. The more classes I took of each the harder it began to let either one go. Then, before I knew it, I was graduating with a double major in psychology and art studio. While these two paths were important to me it was difficult to find a career that merged these two passions until I found UX design. A career that not only allowed me but encouraged me to put my dual interest into all of my work. In the UX world, design does not exist without empathy, and empathy is expressed through design. My experience with psychology studies encourages me to be empathetic but also allows me to refer to various knowledge about human thought and behavior processes. As an artist, I enjoy creating things that are not only beautiful but enjoyed by others. As a creative, I enjoy problem solving and innovation.
